Haji has been drawing since childhood and his love for drawing led him to being offered a tattoo apprenticeship in Brooklyn, NY in 2008. In the middle of his apprenticeship, he was offered a chance to travel to South Korea, where he would live for a year and half. Upon his return in 2010, he completed his tattoo apprenticeship and began tattooing. A student by nature, Haji would return to Asia years later to learn from well-known tattoo artists in Mumbai, India. During this time, he would discover a greater love for realistic and manga-style tattooing, as well as a new found love for dotwork. Haji has a love for Buddhist chanting and Yogic meditation and enjoys the meditative aspect of tattooing. He loves helping others adorn their bodies with meaningful symbols and reminders.
