TATTOO DRAWING COMMISSIONS
After a whirlwind Tour of cross-country tattooing, following a six year tattoo stint in Ulm, Germany, this rambunctious tradeswoman continues her artistic campaign with Asheville’s serene, Zen Ink.
A Creative Advertising degree never put to use, unless you count custom body-modification, Sierra works in oil, watercolour, calligraphy ink, pencil, paper, iPad, and sometimes even sharpie on bathroom stalls- and then there is tattooing.
Wild, abstract, multiculti-color ideas needing to brought to life on your skin? Or soft, transitional shades of realistic shading meant for a half sleeve? Sierra invites whatever you’ve got on the table: watercolour, abstract, art nouveau, semi-realistic, partially-nihilistic, botanical, japanese, neo-T, hey! even some delicate script and paw print tattoos — Take a look at her instagram, Facebook too. Say hi, she doesn’t bite and is really into handhugs.
Sierras tattoo books are closed. She is on extended maternity leave. Return date is TBD.
While she is out, she is taking drawing commissions for tattoo designs!
Commission a design from her, then take it to another artist at Zen to have it put on skin!

Sierra Granger was fantastic from start to finish. My husband and I visited Asheville for part of our honeymoon, and she was friendly, professional, and SO talented. (She also gave us tons of recommendations for things to do in the area, which was super helpful!) Zen Ink is a quiet, clean shop that I would gladly come back to if we are ever in the area. Pricing was more than fair for her work that we will treasure for years!

This was hands down the best tattoo experience I've ever had! I felt very calm and relaxed before the appointment. The shop is very clean and organized which always makes me feel more at ease. Sierra communicated every little detail which was wonderful, it made me feel even more confident in her. In the past, I just had people say okay that's what you want and just automatically start tattooing, that is NOT zen inks approach. Thanks again Sierra!
